The inspiration for creating the Rhizomind platform grew through our daily work as backend developers, DevOps and engineers, which is why we have a good understanding of the challenges that IT departments always face.
The symbolism of the rhizome in philosophy is primarily ambiguity, “processuality”, the lack of hierarchy and a simple connection between the beginning and the end of the system. Each point can be connected to a different point on the rhizome while affecting the rest of the elements in a much more intense way than you might expect. The network of connections creates a structure that is constantly evolving and expanding, spontaneously building new effective connections, strengthening some threads and silencing others, striving for perfect functioning and overcoming encountered difficulties.
In advanced IT systems, we are not dealing with a simple, homogeneous existence. It is not only an “external” application visible to the user, but also “internal” code, repositories, data sources, a cloud platform, deployment environments, network configuration, monitoring and much more. A complex network of connections creates a structure in which a variety of cooperating systems and their configurations, parameters and resources are constantly evolving. It takes a lot of experience to optimally strengthen the elements of the rhizome, maximise the efficiency, availability and resilience of the system, while minimising its maintenance costs.
From code written in any programming language, to continuous deployment at the cloud provider.
Rhizomind is here to develop your IT organism in a thoughtful way.
